Frequently Asked Questions

Lifepress publishes the books of Pastor W. F. Kumuyi. Below are the questions we get most often about buying, reading and managing your account. Still stuck? Contact us.

Buying & payment

Browse the shop, open a title and add it to your cart, then go to checkout. Tick the books you want to pay for, choose card or your Lifepress wallet, and complete payment. Digital books are added to your library immediately after payment.

Card payments are handled securely by Paystack. You can also pay from your prepaid Lifepress wallet — top it up once and check out in a tap.

Yes. Each line in the cart has a checkbox. Untick anything you are not ready for and only the ticked items go to checkout — the rest stay in your cart for later.

Enter the code in the coupon field on the cart page and click Apply. A valid discount shows in the order summary. One coupon per order; some coupons have expiry dates or title restrictions.

All transactions are final. Because books are delivered digitally and instantly, book purchases, wallet top-ups and gift purchases are non-refundable and cannot be reversed, except where the law requires it or a title you paid for will not open. If you were charged in error or a book will not open, contact support with your order reference and we will put it right. See the Terms of Service for details.

Reading your books

On the website, open My Books / your library from the account menu. In the Lifepress Reader app, everything you own is on the Library tab.

Online reading streams each page as you go and stores nothing on your device — ideal for low-storage phones. Offline reading downloads the book (encrypted) so you can read with no connection. In the app you choose per book.

Yes — the Lifepress Reader app for Android, on Google Play. It has the full store, your library with offline reading, read-aloud, quizzes, the community board, your wallet and account. Get the app.

Yes. On a desktop browser you can install Lifepress as an app from the address bar (or the “Install” prompt) for quick access and offline reading.

A few older titles are page images rather than digital text, so in-app text and read-aloud are not available for them. Download them for offline reading, or open them in the browser reader to read the original pages.

Wallet

A prepaid store credit on your account. Top it up with your card once, then pay for books instantly from the wallet at checkout — no card entry each time. It is only for buying books here: wallet credit cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to another user, or sent to anyone else.

Go to Wallet in your account (or the Wallet tab in the app), choose an amount and pay with your card via Paystack. The balance updates as soon as payment clears. Top-ups are non-refundable.

In the limited cases where we approve a refund, an order paid from the wallet is credited back to your wallet balance — never paid out as cash. Wallet top-ups themselves are not refundable.

Gifts

Open the book and choose Gift this book (or use the Gift Center / your library). Enter the recipient’s name, email and an optional message, then pay. They receive an email with instructions to open it.

You will get an email at the address the gift was sent to. Sign in — or create an account — with that same email, and the book appears in My Books / your library.

If you bought more than one copy of a title, you can pass a spare copy to someone at no extra cost from your library. Otherwise, buying a fresh copy as a gift takes a minute at checkout.

Quizzes & rewards

Short quizzes tied to the books, with a leaderboard. Some are generated automatically after you buy a title. Take them from the Quizzes section.

You earn points for activity like purchases, reviews, quizzes and daily visits, and badges for milestones (first purchase, quiz scores, sending a gift, and more). See your progress on your dashboard, or the Achievements section in the app.

Account, devices & privacy

Yes, on both the website and the app. On a fresh app install Google sign-in may not be available yet — email and password always work.

You can read on several devices. Offline downloads are tied to the device they were downloaded on; removing a device from Devices in your account revokes its offline copies.

From Account in your dashboard (or Account & profile in the app). Account deletion and two-factor setup are handled on the website.

Only what is needed to sell you books and let you read them — account details, a device key for offline licensing, reading progress, purchases and support messages. Card details go straight to Paystack; we never see them. See our Privacy Policy.
